How much does house cleaning cost in Michigan?

House cleaning cost in Michigan depends on your home, not on a flat published rate. Square footage, bedroom and bathroom count, the type of clean (regular, deep or move), the current condition of the home, how often you book, and any extras all change the amount of work involved. Spotless Solutions asks for those details in a short quote flow and then shows your personalized price before you commit to anything.

Why there is no single Michigan cleaning price

Two homes with the same address range can take very different amounts of work. A tidy two bedroom condo cleaned every other week is not the same job as a five bedroom house with three full bathrooms that has not been professionally cleaned in a year. Publishing one number would mean overcharging the first home or underquoting the second, so we price the home in front of us instead.

That does not mean the price is a mystery. The factors are listed below, they are the same for everyone, and you see your full price before you confirm anything.

What actually changes your price

Size of the home

Square footage sets the baseline amount of floor, surface and dusting work. Bedrooms and bathrooms matter separately because they carry their own fixed tasks. Bathrooms are the most labor dense rooms in almost every home, so bathroom count moves a price more than most people expect.

Type of clean

A regular maintenance clean keeps an already maintained home in good shape. A deep clean adds detail work (baseboards, buildup in bathrooms and kitchens, edges and neglected surfaces) and takes materially longer, so it costs more. A move in or move out clean is performed on an empty home and covers the inside of cabinets, drawers, closets and appliances, which is more work again.

Condition at the time of the visit

Buildup is time. Soap scum, grease, pet hair volume and general clutter all change how long a visit takes. This is also why recurring homes stay cheaper per visit: less accumulates between cleans, so each visit is a maintenance job rather than a recovery job.

How often you book

Recurring plans are discounted against the one time regular rate, and the discount is fixed and public:

Recurring discounts applied to every visit
PlanDiscount per visit
Weekly25% less per visit
Every 2 weeks (biweekly)20% less per visit
Monthly15% less per visit
Quarterly (regular or deep)10% less per visit
One-timeStandard rate

Members on a recurring plan also save 10% on Care Extras. Weekly, biweekly and monthly plans carry a two clean minimum. Quarterly has no minimum and follows its own notice terms.

Extras and special conditions

Anything outside the standard checklist is priced separately so you are never paying for work you did not ask for. Common extras include:

  • Inside the refrigerator
  • Inside the oven
  • Inside kitchen cabinets
  • Interior windows
  • Wall washing or spot cleaning walls
  • A load of laundry
  • Dishes left in the sink
  • Blinds
  • Ceiling fans
  • Balcony or patio sweep and wipe down
  • Meaningful pet hair work beyond normal shedding

If an extra you want is not on the list, ask during the quote flow. Anything that cannot be quoted deterministically is shown as priced after review rather than guessed at.

What we need to price your home

This is the entire checklist. Nothing else is required to get a real number.

  1. Your Michigan ZIP and a mobile number so we can confirm coverage.
  2. Approximate square footage of the living space you want cleaned.
  3. Number of bedrooms.
  4. Number of full and half bathrooms.
  5. Whether you want a regular clean, a deep clean or a move clean.
  6. How often you want us (weekly, biweekly, monthly, quarterly or one time).
  7. Current condition, including pets and anything that has been waiting a while.
  8. Any extras from the list above.

How to keep the cost down

  • Pick the cadence you will actually keep. A biweekly plan you maintain is cheaper per visit than an occasional deep clean you keep needing.
  • Book extras only when they are due. Inside the oven and inside the refrigerator are usually seasonal, not monthly.
  • Reduce surface clutter before the visit so paid time goes to cleaning rather than tidying.
  • Tell us your priorities. If you care most about kitchens and bathrooms, say so and the visit is planned around that.

Get your actual number

The quote flow takes about two minutes. You enter the details above, see your personalized price with any recurring discount already applied, and choose a time. Your time is confirmed once the 50% deposit is paid, and the balance is due after the clean.

Common questions

Why does Spotless Solutions not publish a price list?
Because a flat list would be wrong for most homes. Price depends on square footage, bedrooms, bathrooms, clean type, condition, cadence and extras. We collect those details in a short quote flow and then show your exact price before you commit to anything.
Is a recurring plan really cheaper than a one-time clean?
Yes, per visit. Weekly saves 25%, every 2 weeks saves 20%, monthly saves 15% and quarterly saves 10% against the one-time regular rate. Recurring homes also accumulate less buildup between visits, so the work stays maintenance rather than recovery.
Does a deep clean cost more than a regular clean?
Yes. A deep clean adds detail work such as baseboards, edges, buildup in bathrooms and kitchens, and surfaces a maintenance clean does not reach every visit. It takes longer, so it costs more than a regular clean of the same home.
Do prices change by city or ZIP in Michigan?
No. Your price comes from your home details, not your city. Some addresses farther out may carry a small travel adjustment, which you see in your quote before you confirm.
Do I pay the whole amount up front?
No. A 50% deposit confirms your time slot and the remaining balance is due after the cleaning is complete.
