When a regular clean is the right call
Choose a regular clean when the home is being kept up and you mainly want the recurring load taken off your plate. Signs a regular clean is enough:
- The home has been cleaned reasonably well in the last month or two.
- Bathrooms do not have visible mineral or soap buildup.
- The kitchen has no sticky or baked on residue outside the oven.
- You want a predictable standing visit rather than a one off reset.
When a deep clean earns its cost
- It has been a long time since the home had a thorough clean.
- Bathrooms show buildup that does not come off in a normal wipe down.
- Baseboards, vents, door frames and edges are visibly dusty.
- You are hosting, recovering from a renovation, or coming out of a busy season.
- You are switching from cleaning it yourself to a standing plan and want a clean starting point.
You do not have to start with a deep clean
Plenty of new customers start on a regular clean and stay there. Starting deep is a choice, not a requirement. If a home genuinely needs more time than a regular visit allows, we tell you during the quote flow instead of quietly rushing the work or surprising you afterward.
Quarterly can be regular or deep
Quarterly is a cadence, not a cleaning type. You can book a quarterly regular clean if the home is maintained between visits, or a quarterly deep clean if three months of buildup means each visit is a reset. Both carry the 10% quarterly discount. Quarterly has no two clean minimum, unlike weekly, biweekly and monthly plans, and follows its own notice terms.
A practical pattern that works
- Book one deep clean if the home is behind, so everything starts from the same baseline.
- Move to a recurring regular clean at the cadence you will keep.
- Add targeted extras (inside the oven, inside the refrigerator, interior windows) when they come due rather than every visit.
- Revisit the plan seasonally. Michigan salt, mud and heating season change what a home needs.
What is always included
Both cleaning types follow one standard checklist rather than rotating zones, so you know what every visit covers. Extras such as inside the refrigerator, inside the oven, inside cabinets, interior windows, walls, laundry, dishes, blinds, ceiling fans, balconies and heavy pet hair work are priced separately in either type.
